A strategy memo from the facts you give it.
Describe the case type, the facts, your claims, what the other side will argue, the jurisdiction and your client's goal. You get an eight-part strategy memorandum that is direct about the weaknesses. It is a draft for an attorney to check.
How it works
Describe the case
Pick the case type, enter the jurisdiction or court, the judge if you know, and your client's goal.
Give the facts and the claims
Key facts are required. Add your claims or defenses, what you expect the other side to argue, and any other context.
Check what you left blank
Before it runs, it points out important fields you left blank, and you can continue anyway.
Read an eight-part memo
Case assessment, theory of the case, ranked arguments, opposition analysis, motions, discovery, risks and the next 30 days.
Watch it work
A fictional premises liability case is described and a strategy memo is generated. The cursor shows each step. The result is a shortened sample with four of the eight sections.

What it includes
A full memo runs about 1,800 to 3,000 words, with all eight sections written. The result in the demo above is a shortened sample.
1. Case assessment
An honest overall strength of the position: Strong, Moderate, Weak or Mixed, in one direct paragraph.
2. Theory of the case
The single strongest narrative that ties the client's position together, in one tight paragraph.
3. Priority arguments, ranked
The three to five strongest legal arguments, each with the supporting authority, a likelihood of success and what the opposition will say back.
4. Opposition analysis
What opposing counsel will argue, where they are strongest and where they are most vulnerable.
5. Recommended motions
Which motions are worth filing and when, with a one-sentence reason for each, flagging any that could end the case.
6. Discovery strategy
The evidence to obtain, the depositions to prioritize and the highest-leverage requests.
7. Risk assessment
Realistic best, worst and most likely outcomes, and the biggest risks to the client.
8. Next 30 days
The three to five most important actions, in priority order.
Case type
Personal injury, contract dispute, employment and labor, family law and divorce, criminal defense, real estate, business and corporate, intellectual property, estate and probate, immigration, bankruptcy, civil rights or other.
Blank-field check
It flags important blank fields before it runs, so a thin memo is a choice rather than an accident.
PDF and text download
Copy the memo or download it as text or PDF, and find it later in the firm's history.
How the quality is controlled
Honest about weaknesses
It is written as a trial strategist who tells you the risks, because an attorney who sugarcoats them loses.
Three moves ahead
Each argument comes with what the opposition will say in response.
All eight sections, every time
If space is tight it shortens the earlier sections rather than leaving any out.
Cited authority to verify
The memo ends with a notice that every cited authority must be verified before you rely on it.
A stronger model for this work
It runs on the highest-effort setting of our top model.
Your review comes first
It is for attorney use only. A licensed attorney must review it. It is not legal advice.
What it does not do
It does not research case law
It works from the facts you give it. Use the AI Law Assistant to research authority, and verify every citation it gives.
It does not know what you did not tell it
Thin facts give a thin memo. Fill in the fields.
It does not draft the motions
It recommends them. Use the Document Drafter to draft one.
It does not predict a result
A likelihood of success is a judgment from the facts you gave, not a promise.
Your state, your court, your judge.
The more of the picture you give it, the more specific the memo.
Jurisdiction and court
Enter the court, and the judge if you know, so the strategy fits where the case is.
Your state's deadlines
Your firm profile brings in your state's filing deadlines and pre-suit steps.
AI Configuration
Administrators can add the firm's own tone and context, applied to every tool.
How firms use it
A new case intake
See an honest assessment before you commit resources.
Before a partners' meeting
Bring a ranked list of arguments and risks.
A motion decision
Decide which motions are worth the cost, and when.
Discovery planning
List the evidence and depositions that matter most.
Settlement talks
Know the best, worst and most likely outcomes before you negotiate.
Testing your own theory
See what the opposition will argue against it.
Aware of your state's deadlines and notices.
The law differs by state, so the work starts from yours.
Your state first
It applies the law of the state in your firm profile, uses its own terms, and says when federal law or another state's law governs.
Deadlines and pre-suit steps
Filing deadlines and required pre-suit steps are in front of it for every state and DC.
Court rules on AI
For a growing list of states, it also has the bar guidance and court rules on using AI in filings.
Kept up to date
The reference file is checked every month for new laws and court decisions, and fully re-verified every June and December.
The reference file is an aid researched from official sources, not an attorney's review. Confirm current law before you rely on it.

What happens to what you put in.
Client confidentiality is your duty, so the answers are written down in plain terms.
Not used to train AI
Our AI provider's terms prohibit using what we send to train its models. It may keep requests for up to 30 days for safety monitoring, then deletes them.
Kept apart by firm
Each firm's work is visible only to that firm. Connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and two-step sign-in is available.
