Common questions.

How many AI actions are included each month?
Core includes 400 AI actions per user per month, so 1,200 for a three-user firm. Professional includes 700 per user per month, so 5,600 for an eight-user firm. An action is one AI run: a chat message, a drafted document, a contract analysis, or an email reply. Every user you add brings their own monthly allowance: 400 more actions on Core, 550 more on Professional. That works out to about 18 actions per user per business day on Core and about 32 on Professional, well above what a working firm uses, and your dashboard shows this month's usage as you go. Usage resets each month. Enterprise is custom: AI usage negotiated and sized to your firm.
Do paralegals and staff count toward my user limit?
Yes. Every person you add to your firm's account — attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff alike — counts toward your plan's included user limit (3 on Core, 8 on Professional, set in your agreement on Enterprise). There's no separate attorney-only tier; it's based on total headcount, not role.
Can I add more users than my plan includes?
Yes. Your plan's price stays flat for the users it includes — need more, add them anytime for a small per-user add-on fee, prorated for the rest of your billing period. Removing a user takes effect at the next renewal.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — click "Try the platform" on this page. After the trial, you can sign up for any plan.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account is downgraded and AI tools are disabled. Your firm's data remains in the system for 30 days so you can export anything you need. Full deletion on request.
Does this work on iPad and mobile?
Yes. The dashboard and all tools are fully responsive. Attorneys use Ramtek on laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones. The Website Intake Assistant that embeds on your firm's site is also mobile-optimized for clients.
What practice areas does it support?
All of them. The tools are built on large language models that understand legal language across practice areas — personal injury, family law, real estate, business/transactional, estate planning, immigration, criminal defense, and more. The Workflow tool lets you save your own firm-specific templates for any matter type.
Can we get a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?
Yes. Email support@ramtekintelligence.com and we'll send you a DPA within one business day. Our security page and bar ethics brief have the documentation most firms need for their vendor file under ABA Rule 1.1.
Is client data used to train AI models?
No. Ramtek uses a commercial AI inference API. Per the provider's terms, data submitted via the API is not used to train AI models. Each request is stateless — the AI has no memory of prior sessions or other firms' data.
