From the first call to the demand letter.
Answer the inquiry that comes in at night, know your state's limitations period and the deadline you saved, and have the demand letter drafted in your state's terms and on your letterhead. Every draft is for an attorney to review.
A matter, start to finish
The inquiry
The Website Intake Assistant talks to a visitor at any hour, collects their name, contact details and what happened, and saves them to Matter Management as an Inquiry with a draft follow-up.
The deadline
Ask the AI Law Assistant for your state's limitations period and any notice rule, with its sources. Matter Management keeps the date you enter.
The demand
The Document Drafter writes the demand letter from your facts. Save the matter with a deadline and it is drafted a few days ahead for you.
The follow-through
Reply to the carrier and opposing counsel with the Email Assistant, and on Enterprise plan the case with Litigation Strategy.
Watch it work
An inquiry on a firm website, a demand letter, and a draft that arrives ahead of the deadline. All three are fictional matters, and every result is a shortened sample.

Limitations periods differ by state
A sample from Ramtek's state reference file, which is in front of every tool when your firm sets its state. It covers every state and DC, researched from official sources and re-checked every month. Periods change and exceptions apply, so confirm the current rule before you rely on it.

What it does not do
It does not set your deadline
Which date the clock started on depends on your facts. An attorney sets and confirms every deadline.
It does not value a claim
It does not estimate damages or a settlement range. It drafts around the figures you give it.
It does not read medical records for you
There is no dedicated medical-records tool. Check any summary against the records.
It does not send or file
Every letter and email is a draft for an attorney to review and send.

What injury firms ask before they start.
Does Ramtek decide when my deadline is?
No. The AI Law Assistant can tell you the limitations period for your state with its sources, and Matter Management keeps the date you enter. Which date your clock started depends on the facts, so an attorney sets it and checks it.
Can it write a demand letter for an injury claim?
Yes. The Document Drafter writes a demand letter from the facts you describe, in your state's terms and on your letterhead. A Standard-length demand letter runs about 1,200 to 2,000 words. It is a draft for an attorney to review and sign.
Will it ask about a government defendant?
It can. When a missing fact would change which notice or deadline applies, such as whether the property owner is a government body, it asks a short question first. Claims against public bodies often have much shorter notice periods.
Can it summarize medical records?
Not as a dedicated tool. The Contract Analyzer's summary reads any text you paste in, but it is built for contracts, so check any summary of medical records against the records yourself.
Can it value a claim?
No. It does not estimate damages or a settlement range. You give it the figures, and it drafts around them.
How does a website inquiry reach us?
On Professional and Enterprise, the Website Intake Assistant collects the visitor's name, contact details and a short account of what happened, saves them to Matter Management as an Inquiry, and drafts a follow-up for an attorney to review. Nothing is sent to the visitor for you.
Which plan do we need?
Core includes the Document Drafter with demand, settlement and client letters, the Email Assistant, the Contract Analyzer and the AI Law Assistant. Professional adds the Website Intake Assistant, Matter Management, discovery requests, motions and checklists. Litigation Strategy and Case Brief Analysis are on Enterprise.
Is the limitations table above current?
It is a sample from our state reference file, which is researched from official sources and checked every month. Periods change, and exceptions apply, so confirm the current rule for your state before you rely on it.
Is it legal advice?
No. Everything it writes is a draft for an attorney to review.
Is my firm's data used to train AI models?
No. Our AI provider's terms prohibit using what we send through its API to train models. The provider may keep it for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety monitoring and then deletes it.
