From the brand or the invention to the filing.
Capture the founder who has a name or an invention to protect, draft the cease-and-desist letters and the filing notes in plain English, and keep every disclosure and grace-period date in one place. Every draft is for an attorney to review before it is used.
A matter, start to finish
The first call
The Website Intake Assistant talks to a founder at any hour, collects their name and contact details and what they want to protect, and saves them to Matter Management as an Inquiry.
The rules
Ask the AI Law Assistant about trademark use, copyright timing or the patent grace period, with its sources. Matter Management keeps the disclosure and filing dates you enter.
The letters and notes
The Document Drafter writes the cease-and-desist letter, the client letter and the filing checklist from your facts. Save a filing date and the draft is written a few days ahead.
The follow-through
Reply to the other side or its counsel with the Email Assistant. Each draft is saved for review and nothing is sent without you.
Watch it work
A brand owner facing a similar name, a founder with an invention shared publicly, and a filing date drafted before the grace period ends. All three are fictional businesses and people, and every result is a shortened sample.

Checklist
A working checklist for a filing, such as the drawings, the inventor records and the disclosure history. Standard length runs about 300 to 600 words. Professional and Enterprise.
IP rules come from federal law
Trademark, copyright and patent rights are set by federal law, so this page does not use the state reference file. The table lists the rules the tools draft around. Each one turns on dates and facts the attorney must confirm.
| Matter | Where the rule comes from | What the tool does |
|---|---|---|
| Copyright infringement | 17 U.S.C. § 507(b) | Gives the three-year period for a civil action, counted from when the claim accrued. The attorney confirms the accrual date |
| Patent grace period | 35 U.S.C. § 102(b)(1)(A) | Explains the one-year grace period after an inventor's own public disclosure. Rights in many other countries can be lost by the same disclosure |
| Trademark use and confusion | The Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1114 and § 1125(a) | Drafts the cease-and-desist letter around the mark, the use and the likelihood of confusion. Whether confusion is likely is a fact question |
Confirm the current rule and any filing fee or form before you rely on them. The attorney checks the USPTO and Copyright Office records directly.
What it does not do
It does not clear a name or an invention
It does not search trademark or patent records for conflicts or prior art. An attorney runs those searches.
It does not predict whether a claim will succeed
It does not estimate the chance of infringement or of a patent being granted.
It does not file with an office
Nothing is filed with the USPTO or the Copyright Office. Every application and letter is a draft for an attorney to review.
It does not value an IP asset
It does not estimate the value of a brand, a patent or a licence. It drafts around the figures you give it.

Questions
What intellectual property firms ask before they start.
Does Ramtek search trademark or patent records?
No. It drafts letters and notes from the facts you give it. Clearance and prior-art searches are run by the attorney in the official records.
Can it draft a cease-and-desist letter?
Yes. The Document Drafter writes a demand letter over a trademark, copyright or patent, with the facts, the right claimed and a response date. It is a draft for an attorney to review.
Does it explain the patent grace period?
The AI Law Assistant explains the one-year grace period in 35 U.S.C. § 102(b)(1)(A) with its source. It also notes that many other countries may not allow the same grace period, which the attorney must check.
How does an inventor's call reach us?
On Professional and Enterprise, the Website Intake Assistant collects the caller's name, contact details and what they want to protect, saves them to Matter Management as an Inquiry, and drafts a follow-up for an attorney to review. Nothing is sent to the caller without an attorney.
Is it legal advice?
No. Everything it writes is a draft for an attorney to review. Its answers come with sources so you can check them.
Is my firm's data used to train AI models?
No. Our AI provider's terms prohibit using what we send through its API to train models. The provider may keep it for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety monitoring and then deletes it.
