From the arrest to the court date.
Capture the call from someone arrested last night, draft the client letters and motions in plain English, and keep every court date and motion deadline in one place. Every draft is for an attorney to review before it is used.
A matter, start to finish
The arrest call
The Website Intake Assistant talks to a family at any hour, collects the caller's name and contact details, and saves the court date they give as an Inquiry.
The rules
Ask the AI Law Assistant about the speedy-trial period, the motion rules or the public defender process, with its sources. Matter Management keeps the court dates and motion deadlines you enter.
The letters and motions
The Document Drafter writes the plea letter, the client letter and the pretrial motion from the facts you give. Save a motion deadline and the draft is written a few days ahead.
The follow-through
Reply to the prosecutor or the court clerk with the Email Assistant. Each draft is saved for review and nothing is sent without you.
Watch it work
A call from a family after an arrest, a client letter about a plea offer, and a motion drafted before the court's deadline. All three are fictional people, and every result is a shortened sample.

Criminal rules are set by Florida's rules and the court
Ramtek's state reference file covers filing periods for civil claims. For criminal matters the tools answer from Florida's rules with their sources, and the table lists the rules they draft around. Judges set their own motion deadlines, which control over the general rule.
| Matter | Where the rule comes from | What the tool does |
|---|---|---|
| Speedy trial | Fla. R. Crim. P. 3.191 | Explains the 175-day felony and 90-day misdemeanor periods, counted from arrest, with the notice rules. The attorney decides whether they run |
| Motion to suppress | Fla. R. Crim. P. 3.190 | Drafts the motion with a marked place for authority. The grounds and the timing come from the facts and the court's order |
| Appointed counsel | Fla. Stat. ch. 27 | Explains the public defender process with its source. Eligibility is decided by the court on the client's finances |
Confirm the current rule and the judge's order before you rely on it. Rules and local practice change.
What it does not do
It does not advise on a plea
It drafts the letter that explains an offer. Whether to accept is the client's decision, made with an attorney.
It does not predict a sentence
It does not estimate a sentence, a fine or the outcome of a trial.
It does not appear in court
Nothing is filed with the clerk or argued before a judge. Every motion is a draft for an attorney to review and file.
It does not replace the evidence
It works from the facts and documents you give it. Check every summary against the discovery itself.

Questions
What criminal defense firms ask before they start.
Does Ramtek advise a client whether to take a plea?
No. It drafts the letter that explains an offer in plain English. Whether to accept is the client's decision, made with an attorney who explains the consequences.
Can it draft a motion to suppress?
Yes. The Document Drafter writes the motion with its argument and a marked place for case authority. It never invents a case. The grounds and the deadline come from the facts and the court's order.
Does it know the speedy-trial periods?
The AI Law Assistant explains the periods in Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.191 with its source. Whether they run in a particular case depends on the facts, which the attorney checks.
How does a call after an arrest reach us?
On Professional and Enterprise, the Website Intake Assistant collects the caller's name, contact details and the court date they give, saves them to Matter Management as an Inquiry, and drafts a follow-up for an attorney to review. Nothing is sent to the caller without an attorney.
Is it legal advice?
No. Everything it writes is a draft for an attorney to review. Its answers come with sources so you can check them.
Is my firm's data used to train AI models?
No. Our AI provider's terms prohibit using what we send through its API to train models. The provider may keep it for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety monitoring and then deletes it.
